What is Disco Cures Cancer?
One word.....Fun!
Each year we turn out the hottest Discoteque straight out of Saturday Night Fever. The event re-creates the excitement of the 1970's Disco complete with an extensive lighting system, huge lighted dance floor, outlandish costumes and, of course, a live DJ playing the crowds favorite disco hits.
The first event was held in October of 1998 and has been held every October since.

The proceeds of 95.5 WIFC’s Disco Cures Cancer 12 will benefit the community with $10,000 adding to the 95.5 Disco Cures Cancer endowment fund and the remaining $13,685 will be used to purchase DVD players, cases and DVDs for patients to use during chemo treatments, memory foam neck pillows for radiology oncology patients as well as support patient support groups. As well as technology upgrades & software for clinical research programs. The upgrades will help to guide patient care and track diagnostic activities with the purpose of providing the highest quality of care possible.
